Biography

Malik M. Khan is currently working as a Research Scientist in the Computer Science department (IDI) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway. He has previously held a Postdoctoral fellow position there as a Marie-Curie fellow under the ERCIM "Alain Bensoussan" fellowship program. He has also served as Assistant Professor in National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. Dr. Khan completed his PhD in Computer Science from University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. He has also worked as a researcher at School of Computing at University of Utah.

His research focuses on autotuning, code optimization, and code generation technology and he developed his code optimization framework for CUDA Nvidia GPUs. His recent research is focusing on developing technologies to integrate the compilation, code generation, and runtime phases in a framework for better performance.
